AMRI Hospitals, Bhubaneswar recently organized a camp in collaboration with the leading educational organization, IIT-Bhubaneswar. The camp was organized at the college, in collaboration with the Medical Unit of IIT-Bhubaneswar, headed by Dr M.A. Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of IIT-Bhubaneswar, Prof R.V. Raja Kumar lauded the initiative and encouraged the college faculty, officers and staff members to take part in the camp, and avail the optimal health-care services provided by AMRI Hospitals.
Prof Raja Kumar also talked about the negligence people have towards basic health and well-being due to their stringent schedules and time constraints. He further emphasized on the need of prioritizing health for avoiding any major medical complications.
The camp was led by AMRI Hospitals’ panel of medical expertise, including chief ophthalmologist, cardiologists, medical specialists and gynecologists. It was fully equipped to provide a series of generic health treatments, and tests such as free blood sugar, ECG (on doctor’s advice), pulmonary function test (PFD), eye checkup, etc.
AMRI has been organizing medical camps time and again, in association with some of the major corporates and other institutions, offering consultation, and comprehensive range of treatments to employees, general people, and its immediate community.
Through such medical camps, AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar extends the reach of its services mainly to people who do not have easy access to timely and quality medical-care. Its health experts strive to spread awareness regarding appropriate health-care among the population, and provide them with medical guidance, as and when deemed necessary.
The medical camps provide attendees with physical examination, along with assessment of other health vitals. These camps conduct primary health check-up and offer free medical consultation as AMRI believes that healthcare should be a fundamental right that everyone should be entitled to, irrespective of the gender, financial condition, strata, etc.
With the help of these health camps, many patients have come in association with the hospital to continue the course of medical treatments. Being uncompromising on the quality parameters when it comes to its services, the hospital aims at engaging with as many people and providing them the medical attention they need.
